Brian L. Lighty
Brian L. Lighty, 60, passed away Friday, November 24, 2023, at UPMC Memorial, York.
Born in York on April 20, 1963, son of the late Larry W. Lighty and the late Mary Lee (Garber) Livingston.
He was employed by KBS as a truck driver and was the owner of the former Chief Packaging.
In his younger days he enjoyed racing go-carts. Brian loved watching racing and bowling. He was a member of the Viking Athletic Assoc., 13th Ward, and the NRA.
Survivors include a daughter, Danielle M. Heisey and her husband, David of Dover; a son, Dustin M. Lighty and his companion, Kelly Marie of Allentown; five grandchildren, Haley, Austin, Hunter, Quinn and Hudson; half-sister, Michelle L. Young and her husband, Floyd of N.C., stepbrother, Brian S. Lefever of KY; stepmother, Joan M. Lighty of N.C. and brother, Gerald W. Lighty and his wife, Diane of York.
There will be a visitation Thursday, November 30th from 6 to 8 p.m. at the LeRoy R. Leber Funeral Home, 2290 School St., York (Shiloh). A private graveside service will be
in Red Run Cemetery.
